Alice designs and makes contemporary jewellery inspired by the balance between man and nature. This contrast between the industrial world and the natural environment is central to the North East landscape where Alice lives and works. Organic forms are given a futuristic twist drawn from industry, science fiction and 60’s design to create a synthetic nature. Colourful plastics are combined with silver. Traditional silversmithing techniques are fused with digital technologies such as computer-aided design and laser cutting.
