Anna Pope

Anna graduated from Loughborough University in 2012 with a first class honours in 3D Design: New Practice. Anna followed her dream to relocate to Cornwall in 2013 and now works from her Potting Shed Studio, which is within walking distance of the Cornish coast paths and the countryside.

Anna enjoys creating jewellery that tells a story of plants and its special connection with people and does this by exploring a plant and its link with craft, traditions, and communities, crossing over these subjects and experimenting with them to create something new. She mainly uses metal and gemstones, but sometimes you might find an alternative material, such as coconut fibres!

Through her work, Anna hopes to share her interest in the beautiful connection people have with their heritage, often from a slower-paced bygone era, when people were in tune with their natural surroundings and materials used in craft.
